NAME

mdview - Browse Markdown pages.

SYNOPSIS

me "@mdview" <markdownfile>

DESCRIPTION

The start-up file mdview.emf may be invoked from the command line as interactive Markdown file browser for Wiki like organized Markdown files so that these files are displayed in MicroEmacs in a sophisticated way with links to other Markdown files displayed as clickable links and using a navigation header with links to home, next, previous, help etc.

EXAMPLE

Here is how to use this command line filter to display specific markdown files ME as a command line filter, i.e.

me @mdview wiki/home.md 

NOTES

The start-up code is stored in the file mdview.emf, the filehook code in the file hkmdview.emf. The macro was added in August 2026.
