NAME

info - Display Info pages.
pydoc - Display Python module documentation.
rdoc - Display R help pages.

SYNOPSIS

me "@info" <topic>
me "@pydoc" <modulname>
me "@rdoc" <helppage>

DESCRIPTION

The start-up files info.emf, pydoc.emf or rdoc.emf may be invoked from the command line as interactive documentation browser for info pages, Python module help pages or R help pages to be displayed in MicroEmacs as a more sophisticated documention tool than the standard Unix tools.

EXAMPLE

Here are some examples how to use these command line arguments to display specific help pages within ME as a command line filter, i.e.

me @info coreutils 
me @pydoc argparse 
me @rdoc mean 
me @rdoc cluster::pam 

NOTES

The start-up code is stored in the files info.emf, pydoc.emf and rdoc.emf were added in December 2025 and July 2026.
